Growing Power Winter Farmers Market

Growing Power Winter Farmers Market

This market is on Saturdays through the fall and winter season! Located at our Growing Power warehouse in Butler, WI at 13111 W. Silver Spring Drive. The hours are from 10 am- 2 pm. We started this market in the fall of 2013. We're now able to grow many of your favorite vegetables year round, so we thought a winter market is long overdue! We also have items like our fresh eggs, honey and hand rolled butter. Plus, we have other vendors who provide their value added items as well; things like specialty popcorn, natural soaps and detergents, a Milwaukee bakery and more produce vendors!

Stay tuned for dates starting the 2014 Winter season.

Mitchell Street Farmers Market
This market is every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. It even has it's own facebook page! Growing Power has partnered with the Freedom Now! Collaborative to manage the Milwaukee Southside Mitchell Street Farmers Market, which is based in one of Milwaukee’s most food insecure neighborhoods, i.e., in 2005, the Mitchell Street Farmers Market received the highest volume of WIC and FMNP checks in the state.  Now entering its third year of management, Growing Power is ensuring access to safe, healthy, affordable produce for hungry families, while at the same time supporting local sustainable agriculture. Events, education, nutrition information, and widespread community support make the Mitchell Street Farmers Market the "original" southside market. Visit the Mitchell Street Farmers Market to help support local agriculture.

Located just west of the Historic Mitchell Street Neighborhood at the corner of Mitchell Street and Muskego Avenue.  WIC checks accepted. Stop by for fresh, local, healthy, affordable produce from Milwaukee area farmers.

Garden District Farmers Market

This market is every Saturday at the Garden District, which is located at 6th and Howard on Milwaukee's southside. Here's their facebook page.  We're there every Saturday from 1-5 p.m. from June through the end of October.  A lot of great, local food and sometimes there's even free yoga classes!

Butler Farmers Market
This market is located at the intersection of 127th and Hampton in Butler, WI. Come see us every Monday from 11 am- 3 pm.  Check out the market's website here, for other vendor information and specials!
