Taking a tour of our Community Food
Center and Urban Farm in Milwaukee or of one of our urban farm sites in Chicago
is a great way to learn about Growing Power.
In Milwaukee:
Tours are offered Monday-Sunday at 1:00pm and are open to the public. If you plan to attend with a group larger than 10 people, please inquire about a private tour. There will NOT be tours on the following dates: During Holidays : Nov. 23-27th 2011,December 24-26th 2011, January 1-2nd 2012, May 30th 2012, Nov 24th 2012 During Workshop week 2012: January 7th-8th , February 18th-19th, March 17th-18th, April 21st-22nd, May 19th-20th, June 9th-10th A tour of the urban farm in Milwaukee
takes approximately 1 ½ hours. During
the tour you will see our growing methods hard at work; worms eating waste, fish
fertilizing plants, and honeybees pollinating the neighborhood.

In Chicago:
We grow in the heart of the city and on
a vacant asphalt basketball court. Come
see how we do it. A suggested
donation of $10.00 per person is appreciated.

Grant Park Urban Agriculture Potager
Senior Youth Corps Representatives will
give weekly tours of the Grant Park Farm
Fridays, July 3rd through

Jackson Park Urban Farm and Community Allotment Garden Tours To be announced for 2009.
Twilight Harvest Meals To be announced for 2009. Come out and learn how to harvest over 50 varieties of vegetables, herbs, and fruit. Attendees will tour the garden, assist in the weekly harvest and prepare a meal together on site. We will enjoy salads, veggie kabobs and homemade ice cream!
